New life for the iPAQ? [HP]

Check this out:

The Anywhere Travel Companion is a navigational appliance, not a computer. This device offers a new interface sporting large touch screen input buttons which are optimized for in flight use, even in rough air. A big, bright 4.3" screen, with the sharpest resolution in the industry, plenty of memory, and a fast dual core processor make this the most powerful portable GPS system available.

Everything you need is included, turn it on and it works right out of the box. Built into the ATC are Street Navigation, with talking turn-by-turn guidance for your car, and Anywhere Map for your plane.

I see my iPAQ getting this modification before too long.... :)

Would you rely on its accuracy when you are flying, Tim?

Depends on your meaning of "rely". I don't recall if WAAS is enabled on the iPAQ so the altitude readout might not be all that accurate. But as far as navigation, etc it would make a nice backup for VFR.
