translate longitude/latitude coordinates to country

We have recently created a system where we can track vessels position on weekly basis. The system reports the longitude and latitude of the vessel. We are trying to find a software that could translate the longitude and latitude of the vessels into a precise location such as port and country.
We have tried using Google maps but it takes too long to get the information via the internet and it did not give us the precision regarding the country and port as we needed.

Do you have or know of a software that could perform such action i.e., translate longitude and latitude into a country, port name?

Don't applications like that exist now? For example, check this site out:

Thanks for the reply. This website is good to track individual vessels.
My problem is that i have more than 10000 vessels and i need the name of the country they are close to, or even the port name if possible.
