Just saw this unit for sale for only $70 at Tigerdirect. Seems like a pretty decent deal seeing that it has a 4.3" screen. Not sure if it's any good however. For $70 it seems like a no-lose situation right?

You do know it is a discontinued model as well as being refurbished? We can't get much support from Motorola for current models so let that be a clue. :) If you need more info on the gps check here: http://www.motorola.com/Support/US-EN/Consumer-Support/Accessories/MOTONAV_TN30_Default_Support_Loc%3AUS-EN

You might want to take a look at the Mio Moov 300 which is $85, still supported, has TMC, B/T if you have budget constraints. Also lots of user support and some hacks out there for it as well.

I have never seen or heard of anyone owning a TN30.

Or look at the Best Buy store brand - Insignia gps.
  • Yah, that looks like a good deal. Well, I already bought it so hopefully my unit won't give me problems. Kind of wish I went with the omnitech instead, but then again, I really don't need to play games, music, etc. on a gps unit. I just hope the routing is ok on the motorola, we'll see I guess.
