Does Tom Tom have a OBD dongle option

Garmin has one. It is a bluetooth device that you attach to your OBD plug on your car (Onboard Diagnostic port), usually below the steering wheel towards the door. It allows the GPS to display the diagnostics that show up on the main instrument cluster as a check engine etc warning. Then it allows you to cancel them to remove the warning.

This might save or cause a trip to the garage if you know what I mean :)

Garmin makes available all of the different engine parameters plus other doodas for making it more convenient for the driver to drive off the road or into another lane trying to decide if the oil pressure is low or it's just hot outside ;)

OK sosumi, I am a gauge weenie.

Tomtom has an OBD dongle, but only supports it in their fleet/commercial series.

They do not support it in their consumer series.

I just found out that there is programs that use a wifi device and allow using an iPhone to display. Some also will do advanced diagnostics such as what a dealer would have. They range in price from free to north of 100 dollars for the s/w and the wifis range from cheap ebay/Chinese to north of 100. for wired
