GPS ACCURACY IN LATITUDE/LONGITUDE READINGS

NEED TO FIND ASAP A GPS THAT LOCATES LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE
TO THE DEGREES/ MINUTES/ SECONDS/ HUNDRETHS OR THOUSANDTHS OF A SECOND. .0000- 4 DIGITS FOR SECONDS. NEEDS TO BE PRECISE.

    All of the Garmin software and devices that I have will only go down to tenths of a second. I don't have much experience with other brands, but suspect they are similar. Maybe it would help if you told us what you're doing and what accuracy you expect in terms of feet or meters.

    I think you'll find that all consumer grade GPS devices will only have accuracy of about +/- 5 meters. To get anything significantly better, you'll need to spend thousands of dollars for a unit like these:

    However, there is an expectation that consumer grade units will become more accurate in the coming years as the new chipsets become more available and less expensive.
