Buying the GO 2535TM in the US for use in Canada

Maybe be a foolish question but can we buy this model in the US and activate it from Canada?

    The 2535 model, yes. NOT the 2535 LIVE model, though.

    It was the 2535 TM but not with the live feature.

    When you get home, remember to register the M (lifetime maps) by calling CS at 866-486-6866. Supposedly, you can do it on line but it doesn't work for most who try that way.

    You'll find the code on a card in the package marked DO NOT DISCARD.
