Incorrect reporting of location on map

Hi guys,

tonight I downloaded some new software for my Tomtom Go720, and ever since it's shown my position about 50m out from where I actually am.

Eg if I am at a street corner, it shows me 50 metres away from the corner itself.

Can someone point me to a way to either roll back the change, or tell me how to fix the correct the map overlay?

No gps is going to be dead on accurate. That said, do you have many poi categories set to show on the map? That sometimes slows down screen redraw. No more than 2 or 3 is advised.

I think it's got to do with the map overlay.

When I manage my tomtom from my PC, it shows the correct location on the map. If I view the map itself on the device, it shows the incorrect position.

I guess I need to try find my old maps, and restore them somehow.
