Replacing a 160C Garmin GPS.

Does anyone know if I can use the same wiring, transducer, etc and just replace my 160C with a different model, and if so, which ones. The screen is distorted, probably from the sun beating on it. I was hoping to pick up just the unit without having to redo everything. Thanks.

  • If you buy some of the newer garmin sonars (echo) and you want to use the same transducer, wiring etc (lets say because you have already mount them on the boat and don't want to remove them) you need to buy additionaly a "Female 4-pin to Male 6-pin Transducer Adapter":
