handlebar mount

Okay - make my day!

I just received, by post, the handlebar mount that is for several models - my eTrex 20 included.
Without attaching the mount to a bicycle - just at my desk - I've inserted the eTrex into the mount. And I simply cannot get it out. It has clicked into place, and I cannot remove it. :(

Your help is needed; be gentle.

Edit:
I have, perhaps, inserted the eTrex upside-down.
It seemed "the way to go" - and after a substantial "click" into place, I was sure of it.
Now...

    Which mount :?:

There is only one mount for bicycles for the eTrex line. It is meant for a whole range of hand-helds. It comes with strap ties for the center of the handlebars.

    The "bike/cart" mount:

Well there are others, wasn't clear if for example you'd bought the RAM mount

Those are fairly easy to remove, not sure about the Garmin one, but this site has some info ... seems easier to remove if fixed to a handlebar :)

Thanks so very much for that link.

Without it, I didn't even know if I had mounted the device the correct way; it could slip in from either direction. I did have it mounted correctly.
Using a hint from that topic - and brute force (something that should always be kept handy in one's glove compartment) - I separated the two objects.
