Need a GPS Capable of Custom Routes

I love to take backroad trips on my motorcycle. I'd LOVE to plan my routes using a "drag and drop" route customizing feature such as is available via MapQuest. Is there a way/format to save these customized routes to share with a GPS OR is there a GPS available which has this ability when connected to a computer.
If I had a GPS like I've described, it would allow me to easily follow a route I've choosen....MUCH nicer than trying to read MapQuest paper directions...and MUCH safer too!
Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance....Michael

But the Zumo and almost any of Garmin's current Nuvi series can also use routes that you export from Mapquest if you prefer. The problem arises when there's something different between the map on your GPS and Mapquest however. Now both Garmin and Mapquest get their data from Navteq, but the versions will not be in sync with each other. So if you create a route on mapquest and it uses a new road that isn't on Garmin's map, you will have an issue.
Using the same Garmin map in Basecamp and on the GPS should eliminate this issue, although the whole topic gets a little complex.
