Recommendation for Universal Handheld GPS

Hi there,

I'm needing to get a handheld GPS device that's relatively universal for PC's. I need it to be able to plug in various types of laptops or PC's. For example, the Garmin eTrecks I currently have has a serial that doesn't fit on my laptop. Ideally, I want the device to be compatible with as many PC's and laptops as possible. Secondary criteria would be price somewhere hopefully in the $100 range. Any referreals? Thanks@

From Garmin, if I remember correctly the least expensive handheld with USB support (not serial) is the eTrex Venture Cx. Retail is $246 but you should be able to find it for less than $200.

Another option would be the Magellan eXplorist 210 and costs about $150.
