Windows GPS Software???

This might not be the right place, but thought I'd ask....

I recently swapped out a car that had a factory GPS for a car that doesn't have it so I am looking at getting a GPS unit. I have an ultra mobile PC that runs Windows XP and wondering if there is any GOOD GPS mapping software that competes with the features of dedicated GPS devices like the Garmin or TomTom??

Thanks in advance!

Brian

There are a few packages out there. Garmin has a product called GPS 18 (http://www.garmin.com/products/gps18/) which includes their "nroute" software that runs on a laptop. There are a few other packages out there too such as Route66, DeLorme's and Street Atlas USA 2007.
