Dos Navigon make a unit that a user can easily replace the battery?

I've had to replace a Garmin and a Tomtom GPS vehicle units because the battery went bad and it was basically too difficult to replace without damaging the units.

So does Navigon make a unit that I can replace the battery easily?

Navigon is owned by Garmin now, and AFAIK no longer makes PND units, at least in North America. Their primary product is the smart phone app.

Incidentally, battery replacement on a Garmin nuvi is quite easy. There are online video tutorials showing how to do it for most nuvi models. I have done it several times with no problems. If you still have your Garmin, I would suggest trying the battery install.

I tried it but the delicate ribbon on my Nuvi broke. Same with the tom tom 2505 that I just ruined.
