Long-duration GPS logger

In addition to another GPS logger type I'm looking for in another thread, I'm also looking for a "long-duration" GPS logger, one which I basically just leave in a place and come back to in 6 months to collect the data. Some features:
- Just GPS logging, no other usability features needed
- Generic export format, exportable using Mac or Linux
- "Car mode" as an option if available -- start logging when power applied, stop logging when power turned off
- Long-battery life -- a couple days if possible, because sometimes it'll be unplugged or power discontinued and it still needs to continue logging
Is there anything like this available?
