Navigon 7100 traffic question

I have never used a gps with traffic information and I am considering buying the Navigon 7100 partly because of the lifetime free traffic info. My question is whether the device is is able to detour you around traffic jams and how easy it is to do that. For example, does the device tell you that 495 is backed at exit 52 for 2 miles going eastbound and then allow you to click a single button to request a detour around the problem, or does it just give you some general information about the incident which then requires you to navigate through the menu to find that part of your route and program in a detour?

Thanks - Mike

It depends on how long the expected delay is. In many cases the delay won't be long enough to justify a re-route, other times it will.
