Hi. Looking for a GPS unit that offers the following:

  1. with large or prominent display of Speed in MPH

  2. powered down and back up, goes back into mode which displays Speed in MPH

  3. accurate MPH at low speeds (ie: 5 MPH vs. 7 MPH)

  4. an External antenna

  5. dc cigarette lighter is an optional power source

thanks

A GPS is not accurate (responsive) enough to use as a speedometer, at least none that you will find in the general market. Also, no state will pass a vehicle with a GPS replacing a speedometer if that is your intent. It's a handy feature to have, but in my opinion a feature is all that it is. :)
