Your best bet is to have a discussion with support: New Zealand +6499055597 Monday-Friday: 11:00-19:30 NZST

Good work there.
-
Others have reported the same issue on Tomtom's production forum. So far, TT has not responded.
-
Cool. Thanks for posting it, Boyd.
-
Somewhat patronizing response to someone just trying to help in my opinion.

Sorry Tim. That link just brings you back to this thread.
-
Afraid not. But the 'new' tag seems to still work ok. The number of views of a topic has also been broken for many months and might not be working properly. The truth is that this site is not overly active (the same fate as all GPS dedicated sites …

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Strange, eh?

Gentlemen...…….think we've strayed from the original topic of this thread.

Yeah, I haven't been too busy here (

Sorry, forgot to add that many of those models listed are actually the same model -- just renamed for different regions (such as Europe, NA, Australia).
-
All those listed are referred to as Nav 3 devices (last produced in 2014 [I think]). Newer Nav 4 and, now, Nav 5 devices are not affected apparently.
-
Newer Tomtom models have computer voices that allow for voice control; i.e., various commands that you can use on the device. For what specific model were you trying to download the guide for?
-
I agree - and it's great to see you around here again gator! =D> +1 !!!
-
Thanks for the feedback.
-
Good to hear. Can you detail exactly what support did so others (including me!) can learn, please.

Anything here?: http://us.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/16695/kw/no maps found Try this: 1. Completely remove MyDriveConnect using the FREEWARE version of Revo Uninstaller. Get it here: https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_…

Well, that is many years old.(over SEVEN) Best you call support again for the steps in purchasing a new (zoned) map , if possible. That is, if your model is NOT considered End of Life. See here: https://us.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_id…
-
If the version of the map is 985 then you do have the latest.
-
I'd call again. Ask for 2nd level support.
-
What model device?
-
It should be quicker but sometimes it takes a while for the pay servers to 'talk' to the map servers. That said, I hope your device is not one of the models determined to be EOL (End of Life) by Tomtom whereby no more maps or support is available. C…

Seven plus years ago (when I made the previous post) there were no models that required MyDriveConnect and they did allow for file access then. For newer models since about 2009 or 2010 your map should be available for downloading in MDC. Also, se…

TomTom also provides a decent range of products. The 50S/60S might be a good fit. See here for products: http://www.tomtom.com/en_us/drive/car/
