I wound up at Dicks Sporting goods last night, and they had a Garmin etrex 20 demo on clearance for $49.97, so I purchased it. It came with everything but the box. I thought it was a good deal, couldn't pass it up.

thanks. I'm leaning towards a Garmin etrex 20 or higher. I just started researching them, and this will be my first handheld.
