Hello boys and girls,
I was wondering if anyone had an idea of the practical range of the Rino 650 series? It's all fine that Garmin says 20 miles but in what terrain, over open water or in a sewer system? I'm wondering whether to have Rinos in a few vehicles and a base station would reliably allow the Rinos in the vehicles to send their position to the base station, maximum range needed would be 10km.
Oh, and does anyone know if there are any external antennas made that fit the Rinos (I'm thinking for both the base stations and the vehicle ones)?
