Does the 260W have all the different voices (Jack + Jill) etc that the 7 series does?

The regular 260 does, so I imagine that the wide version is the same in that respect.

@armoredsaint;

Dont feel too bad yet. It is still on SIRF chip. ( at least for my serial number of 19U00xxxx)
And you are NOT getting 2.6 firmware w/ QuickFix II as 7xx series.
But using same Version 2.9 and GPS SW of 3.00G as Nuvi 200W and 250W.

For 260W I am playing with right now, its signal strength, acquisition and accuracy is really left to be desire. On the other hand, MTK 260 can lock on to signal inside the house less than 100 secpmds cold start every time, plus, it does NOT tends to lock to the road all the time.

While the 260W is now slightly higher than the original price, this unit is currently priced far below any of the other internet sellers that I checked last night.

Was almost ready to purchase a 660 which are currently being listed on sale, but I believe the 260W will do everything that I require.

If the 260 has an MTK chip, will it lock faster and hold better than the 260w with the SIRF III chip?
