I've joined many of those in the past 12-18 months and have never once received an email. Have you had better luck?

Well, now that you mention it...........over the same time period they have been few and far between. I have gotten a couple, but late. I thought maybe I had used an old email address when I first signed up. In the beginning - several year ago - they showed up in a timely fashion. I tried to get back in to the mail list and it did not recognize my old user/password.

If you want to delete this thread so people don't put too much faith in this service go right ahead.

It might be worth keeping the thread to get experiences from others.

I was going to say that as well (never received an email).

One example:
I signed up for the 660 updates and there's a 4.30 update that I found out from here (still no email).

I guess my main source for Garmin updates will be gpsreview.net Cool

Me to. Never received any emails re new releases. Only way I got to hear about 2.6 for the 760 was through the forum.
Waste of time which is a pity because the rest of Garmin Support seems to work well judging by the favourable comments on the forum.
Regards,

There is a 4.4 update on there now. No e-mails about it either.

Think we should tell Garmin the emails aren't getting out or keep it our little secret?
