Talk about cool... Bluetooth GPS for my Motorola Q AND a data logger for my photos, all in something the size of a key fob.
It wasn't until picture 16 that I realized my camera time was off by a few minutes, making the photos prior pretty far off. However after adjusting the time on my camera it worked very well.

So far I'm very impressed, although finding 'the right' software is a bit of a pain.
For a PC I'm trying the following:
JetPhoto Studio
PixGPS
For the Mac I'm trying the following:
(Will update when I get home and look)
The unit itself is very easy to operate and seems well built. First press of the power button turns the unit on as expected, pressing it one more time toggles Bluetooth power, holding the power button down turns the unit off. There is also a track button you can press to manually set a waypoint.
3 LED's make up the status, GPS/Bluetooth/Power. Fairly self explanatory although it helps to read the tiny manual to know what they mean (steady, color, flashing).
All in all I'm very impressed at this point. The unit matched my nüvi 660 to a T as far as navigation goes.
I look forward to many years to come... Now I just have to see if it will work with SmugMug or if I'll have to switch over to Flickr (seems to be a more popular choice for GeoTagging, although SmugMug is supposed to support it).
I just purchased a G-Rays 2. I need step by step help in setting it up. I got halfway through the instructional read me instructions. Would really appreciate iany help you could spare.
Thank you

I really appreciate you taking the time to help. I don't know squat about electronics, just basic computer stuff. The GPS box came with two sets of instructions, a booklet & a three page sheet. I used the Readme sheet. Maybe I should of used the booklet. I was progressing nicely on the sheet paper instructions, but when it came to the part of turning it off & going outside for 15 minutes, nothing happened. Is it ok to start from beginning again or ????? I'm going to go to the website you listed and see how it goes there.
Again, thanks for your time.
There's really not much you need to do with the GPS itself... the first time it could take a while to get a location lock, after that it's pretty quick.
Just turn it on and let it sit in an open area outside for up to 30 minutes, should start blinking when it's ready.
Not a bother at all, I'm just not sure what it is you're doing with it.
(Using it with a computer, log only, phone, etc.)
If you're just using it for logging or geotagging photos you can just turn it on and use the software it came with or Houdah to get the data off at the end of the day.
