I just bought a 760 today and can't wait for it to get here. I have a question...the one place that I was going to buy it from said that there is a special SD, a 2 gig, that comes preloaded with Garmin recovery software...they wanted $200 for it. I am guessing that whatever is loaded on the SD card is not worth about $170 since it is easy to find larger cards for less than $30. Any ideas on what software they could have been talking about...the card they were trying to sell me was just a SanDisk...nothing special about it. Also does anyone know if the 760 supports SDHC? I was thinking of just getting an 8 gig card but want to makesure it will work first.

that is what I was thinking...a way to make up a card what 1000% and see who they could sucker into it. I just ordered it from GPSDiscount.com...no problems and it is already to ship...can't wait to get it.

Any ideas on the support of SDHC or the max size of the SD card for the 760?

I submitted the question to Garmin Tech support and here is their response.

"Thank you for contacting Garmin International. Currently all Nuvi units will support up to a 4GB SDHC card. Larger cards may work however they have not been tested. "

So anyone try anything bigger than a 4 gig card?
