PostUpdate on the Updating process.  Mon May 05, 2008 8:33 pm    Reply to topic Reply with quote

HP has just expanded the update server bandwidth to speed up the download time, so that part should be better.

The alternative update method is still stuck with their engineers and not yetready to release. ETA I get is 3 more weeks.

Okay, I think the update is complete, and the iPAQ is rebooting... how do I tell if this thing is fully updated?

Run CM again, click on the down arrow and select 'updatable' and if nothing shows up, then you've got the latest updates. Also, the bottom right quadrant should show [Update available for: none.]

On the 310, go to Settings from the Main Screen, System, About, and you should get:

AppSuite 30555
Nav version Mar 7 2008

Okie dokie, looks like I got it all. 2.5 hours total for download and install, no issues.

Now , create and navigate to a contact and if no crash, you are current. Also, the map redraws should be faster and TTS Susan should be better. Crashes should be history.
