Nuvi doesn't say street names after installing the 2009 uda

I have a Nuvi 660 which worked very well. I ordered and installed the 2009 update. Seems to work fine but it no longer tells the names of the streets you are to turn onto. So I get "turn left" rather than turn onto Main St.

I have the DVD so I can reinstall if that is n issue but the directions are working (drove into SF today) but no street names.

I must be missing some setting or do I need to reinstall?
Any help would be appreciated.

Try a different voice. One that does TTS.

I don't know about the 660 but on the 760 and 5000, go to Tools>Settings>Language>Voice Personality and choose one of the voices that speak street names.

It may be somewhat different on the 660 but I imagine that it would similar.

Thanks to all who took the time to help me. Changed to a TTS voice and all is well. Didn't know about that.
