Purchased 3 days ago..while on I95 screen locked up 3 or 4 times. and then data seemed to be "late". Came to a complete stop, and speedo still showed 65 mph?? If this is a repost, sorry, but I'm ready to return it.

Click on the satellite reception icon in the lower right of the map view, then click the 'version' button again in the lower right. We are looking for the number to the right of the word "App" and the number at the end of the line that starts with "Map". It should look something like this:

Are there any application updates available from HOME? Looks like you've got a recent map.

I'd check for an application update, perhaps run the Clear Flash tool from TomTom, and if that doesn't fix it exchange it for a new one.

Thank you, very much. Seems like it was freezing when ever the text to speech should of "kicked in". It's a nice unit, might give the XL330S a try.

I'm still not "sold" on the TEXT to Speech.

Tim, thanks again for your help.

Before you do anything....back up your unit's contents using Explorer, not Home. Make sure hidden files/folders are showing as are extensions for known file types.
