I didn't see a thread on screen protectors and was wondering anyone here use them, I use one on my Iphone and was thinking maybe I should protect the screen but I don't even see garmin selling them, so is it Necessary to have one for the nuvi ? and if so any reccomended shields to buy,I see a few on ebay but some peolple leave some negs. about the ones bought

Has anyone NOT used a screen protector on their Garmin and later wished they had?
I'm wondering if it matters. On my music/video Archos player, I've a protector because it's touch interface is used a lot including a lot of dragging sort of operations -- and the surface is a somewhat rough plastic sort of surface. Plus sometimes a little stick-thing is used. Doesn't seem like the Nuvi would be used anywhere near so heavily or abused quite so bad finger-wise (plus it's screen resolution is a lot lower so any blurring of the screen won't make so much of a difference).
Anybody with experience with wishing they had used a protector, but didn't?
